The UA Cycling Club is a group of cycling enthusiasts that have been on campus since the 1970’s. In addition to providing students an elite cycling experience, the club hosts bike maintenance classes, kills workshops and other events. This year the UA Cycling Club is partnering with the UA Office of Sustainability to provide a fun, interactive way to learn about embedded energy at the Sustainable UA exhibit that will be on the UA Mall the day of Homecoming. Specifically, the UA Cycling Club will be using power generating bicycles provided by Genarider to illustrate the concept of embedded energy.
