Tucson Electric Power

Tucson Electric Power (TEP) and the University of Arizona are long time partners in promoting energy efficiency and solar energy as is evident through the development of the Solar Zone at the UA Tech Park. This year the UA is working with TEP to offset more of UA’s power use during Homecoming Weekend by participating in TEP’s Bright Energy Solutions program and to supply Renewable Energy Credits for Homecoming Weekend.

Role in Project Pawprint:

  • Administer the Bright Energy Solution Community Solar Program
  • Explore additional ways to provide renewable energy for UA Homecoming
