The UA Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CHEE) is a key partner of the UA Office of Sustainability in the development and implementation of Project Pawprint. The department has professional experience with life cycle assessment and is supporting Project Pawprint through Professor Paul Blowers as a technical advisor on the project, and through the recruitment of students to collect and analyze data.
Role in Project Pawprint:

Dr. Paul Blowers was instrumental in starting this project. He recognized that no one has yet performed an inventory-based Life Cycle Assessment on a large event.
